Mobile Apps📱

  • Experimental Biology 2016 App - Official app for the conference
  • Notability - great note taking app! You can import session handouts and take notes on them from the app
  • WiFi Map - finding WiFi is crucial and often a problem at large venues, this app can help
  • Work Hard Anywhere - helpful database of places to get work done (school, presenter), ratings of electrical outlet availability, food, wifi strength (and passwords)

Social Media💬

  • Twitter App - One of the best social networks for communication at a scientific conference, this is often the time using Twitter "clicks" for new users - at a scientific conference
  • Snapchat App - great way to share photos/videos without the pressure of perfection, this is going to be a big deal in 2016
  • Periscope App - a great way to share live video from the conference, *DO NOT broadcast sessions without permission* and use common sense.
  • Anchor App - launched earlier this year, great way to share audio summaries of what you're experiencing at #Anatomy16
  • App - great platform to write and publish longer pieces of content, such as summaries of presentations at the conference

  • #anatomy16 - official conference hashtag
  • #expbio - AAA is part of the APS Experimental Biology Conference, so this might be useful too
  • #MedEd - for tweets related to Medical Education, a popular theme of #Anatomy16
